A Prayerful Hope in the Wilderness
Jon Aragón speaks about how God can be our hope in the wilderness. We should all feel unsettled right now. Let’s be clear, we denounce all forms of racism, white supremacy, Christian nationalism, and all forms of bigotry and hate. All those things are anti-god, anti-gospel, anti-everything that is good, pure, holy, and beautiful. And I know you’re all grieved, as am I. We’ve seen the news, pictures, videos… We need a word this morning.
This morning we see that our hope is Him while we’re in the wilderness. Deuteronomy 8:1-3 Whatever your situational circumstance. As a community, I urge you to stay engaged as we're all navigating our own fashioned deserts but also corporately as we navigate this much larger cultural desert filled wilderness with so much hate, violence, and systemic evils.
