Dear Knock and Pray Team
 
Thank you for your willingness to participate in Knock and Pray on Saturday. We have bathed this in prayer and we are grateful for this opportunity to go out, introduce ourselves to our new neighbors, and love them well by offering to pray for them.

You maybe receiving this email and have not yet signed up to participate, but expressed interest at some point. I still wanted you to have this information in case plans change and you are able to come out with us on the 20th, 27th or when we go out again in a couple of months. Some of you are on this email so that you all are aware of what we will be doing on Saturday and can be better informed as you pray for the teams going out into the neighborhood.

We are going to be using the Bless Every Home software to help us with Kock and Pray

Prior to coming on Saturday:

• Please review the attached Knock and Pray Explanation  (please pay close attention to the physical dynamics of how to knock and stand at a distance to ensure Covid social distancing sensitivity)

• Watch the short video
• Sign up to be a “Light” in the neighborhood around LFBF   6400 N 15th Street Tampa
• Save the website onto your phone so that you can use it Saturday while you are out in the neighborhood around the church.
  
  Here are some helpful details for Saturday:
  • Please arrive by 8:30am-we will gather in the front of the church for a time of prayer
  • We will have an orientation after prayer before we go out to review how to do this and also how to use the Bless Every Home website
  • Please wear your mask
  • We will be putting together ziplock bags as described in the attached information. Each team will have about 10 ziplock bags to leave with those you pray with. Please bring a grocery bag or something to carry these bags in
  • Make sure your phone is charged and have something to write with, we want to capture the names of our neighbors, prayer requests, and any follow up if they express a need
  • Each team of 2-3 people will be assigned about 20 houses (we will have a map) and will be out in the neighborhood about an hour to an hour and a half.
  • Ideally, if you are going to be a part of the ongoing Knock and Pray team, you will visit these same houses again in a couple of months
  • We will meet back at the church after you visit your assigned houses to debrief and have some refreshments

    Mask
    Phone-fully charged
    Pen/s
    Comfortable walking shoes
    Bottle of water
    Bag to carry about 10 ziplock bags
    Wear sunscreen or a hat
     
    Keep praying!! We do not want to labor in vain. We want the Lord to go ahead of us and for the Holy Spirit to lead and guide these interactions with our new neighbors.
