Living Faith New Year's Eve

Join us on Thu Dec 31, 2020 7pm – 9pm via Zoom

Join us Thursday night at 7 PM for a special service as we welcome the new year. The night will include worship, thoughtful testimonies, a time of prayer, God's word, and we will also have a time of communion together.
Greetings Living Faith Family!

We are hopeful that your Christmas was a joyful time with your families and above all remembering the great love of God that defines this season. Beloved, 2020 has been a truly challenging and remarkable year. We have all endured a historically difficult season. 2020 will long be remembered alongside other experiences of tragic events like the downing of the World Trade Center towers, World Wars, the 1918 influenza, and many others. Photos of people wearing face masks will be part of the global memorial landscape for decades to come.

Saints, our nation has been tested in ways we could not have imagined. One in 1,000 Americans have died from COVID-19. We have seen social unrest due to the lingering reality of racism. Additionally, many of us have experienced personal difficulties and losses that we will scar us for years if not for the rest of our lives. This has been our 2020! Which is why we think it is vitally important that we end the year together as a church family in worship, prayer, testimony, and the word. If there has ever been a year to end on that note, it is this one. And yet the Lord has also shown so much favor and grace as well. The Lord has been gracious to our families and also to our church as we prepare to move into our new church home in 2021. Praise God!

Friends, we are having a virtual New Years Eve service and we are grateful to be joined by our good friends at Gulf Coast Community Church in St Petersburg. Our worship team will lead us in praise and worship, we will have thoughtful testimonies shared by saints from both of our churches, we will have a time of prayer, Pastor Jerry Cisar will be preaching for us, and we will also have a time of communion together.

As for communion, prayerfully and thoughtfully consider what elements to use from your home, perhaps simply a juice of some kind and crackers or bread, however the Spirit of the Lord leads. There is no better way to end the year than on remembering the sacrifice of our Lord together.

Please plan to join us for this thankful and hopeful gathering.  We are eager to end the year with you in the presence of our Lord, together.

God bless you and looking forward to seeing you on Thursday evening at 7pm!

We exist to guide people to Christ so they will know him and be changed into his likeness.
