Our History

Living Faith Baptist Church was planted by the Baptist General Conference in the Town N Country suburb of Tampa in 1993.  Kevin and Margie Dennie moved down from Chicago to launch this new, Bible-centered, Holy Spirit-led church.  From the beginning, Living Faith established itself as a warm and engaging church where members committed themselves to the gospel ministry and demonstrated mutual, Christ-like love.

Living Faith has conducted its worship services at several locations beginning in Pastor Dennie's home, followed by years at the Town N Country Recreation Center, The Colonial Coach Estates, and eventually enjoying many years of Sunday and Wednesday evening services at the Children's Home on Old Memorial Blvd. In 2002, nine years after the church's inception, the Lord provided Living Faith with a property of its own.
What followed was six years of God proving his faithfulness through a lengthy permitting and building process which culminated in Living Faith's move into its own facility and having its first service on Hulsey Road in April 2008. We quickly outgrew that location and in July 2016, sought temporary residency at 822 Linebaugh Road. From there, God blessed us to find our permanent home in Seminole Heights.

Through all of its many years of development and growth, Living Faith has maintained an emphasis on prayer, word-centered ministry, and faith in the promises of God. In an effort to underscore our emphasis on gospel-driven mission avoiding any denominational barriers that might surface in the minds of some, Living Faith changed its public name to Living Faith Bible Fellowship.
